My Top Strava 2025

12/31/2025

2025 was a year where I missed my biking distance goals but I was active over 260 days. I ended up hiking 250 miles. I summited our two local volcanoes and did some epic river floats. This year I did activities in Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Arizona, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, West Virginia and ended the year in Italy (to be featured next year). Fall saw a wonderful trip to Bellingham and some fantistic fall hikes in the early season snow. Enjoy!

January started slow, taking some time off the bike, but we did make it out to the coast with Austin and Jenna.

In February we took a trip down to Arizona to visit Jamie's family, it was great to get away from the rain for a bit.

We took a trip to Redwoods National Park in March to enjoy the big trees. Off and on rain over the trip made for an authentic experience.

Fern Canyon was a water hike in Crocks.

April saw my first protest ever. More planned...

Camping weekend at Crooked River Campground, with Austin's first MTB and then ended with a gravel ride.

Early May saw a trip to Corvallis for JL's trail race.

My bud Brian visited and we did an epic 3 day kayak trip down the John Day River in central Oregon.

First time doing Dog Mountain during the spring flower bloom.

June began with our first ever Adams summit with friends. Awesome weather and glissaded back down.

For 4th of July we escaped the fireworks to Oakridge to camp and do bike shuttles.

Summer pedalpalooza vibes in Teal.

3 day trip down Hells Canyon with Austin was unforgettable. Great crew, great company, and great food.

After Hells Canyon, stayed in eastern Orgeon to do a 3 day backpack with Jamie, Austin and Jenna. Couldn't beat the views.

Second time up St. Helens and volcanic peak of the year.

PDX Burger week couldn't be missed. The Bad Boys biked around the city in search of the best burger.

Second Falls Creek ride of the year. First time doing the full loop.

Cassie and David's wedding weekend was a blast with great weather.

October Bellingham workcation started off with a bang.

Bellingham trip ends with beautiful views of larches in a snowy hike.

Guys trip to Stone Harbor saw a disc golf win with my longest friend Chris, who grew up next door to me.

November started off with a hike up one of my favorite trails on a nice fall day with Jamie, Austin and Jenna.

Steph, MoMo and Spencer visited and we took a trip the San Juans. Somehow most of the trip was rain free!
